Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a popular 26-year-old who died after being hit by a car on the A404 at the weekend.
Carl Walker died after being hit by a black Audi A3 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A Facebook tribute page has been set up in memory of the Norden Farm employee, with friends describing him as 'one of the nicest people I knew' and a 'special and amazing soul'.
Others described him as a 'sportsman and a gentleman' and an 'absolute party legend'.
Georgia Parsons, who set up the page, told the Advertiser Carl was the 'happiest and funniest person to be around' and 'a ray of sunshine over Maidenhead'.
A JustGiving page has been set up to fund Carl's funeral, and smashed its £1,000 target in a matter of hours.
Norden Farm said in a statement: "Carl was a very loved and valued member of the Norden Farm team.
"We are all in a deep state of shock and sadness at this tragic loss.
"Carl worked at Norden Farm for over seven years and was team leader of the café bar.
"His warmth, sense of fun and professionalism radiated out to other staff and customers and he will be very missed.
"Our thoughts go out to his family at this very sad time."
A statement from Carl's former school Desborough College said: "The staff at Desborough College are sad to learn of the tragic death of ex student Carl Walker.
"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time."
The driver of the Audi stopped after the collision and police are appealing for witnesses. Call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with any information.
