A lamppost was left hanging over a dual carriageway in Maidenhead after a car crashed into it this morning.
Thames Valley Police received a call at 5am after a red Mazda collided with a lamppost in Braywick Road.
Officers had to close the road on the northbound side between Harvest Hill and Stafferton Way while the damaged streetlight was dealt with.
It reopened at 6.45am.
An investigation is underway and the woman driver of the car has been reported for careless driving.
