CCTV image released over attempted armed robbery in Maidenhead

A CCTV image has been released of a man who may have vital information about an attempted armed robbery at a Co-Op in Maidenhead.

On Saturday, February 20, two men, one of whom was carrying two knives, went into the store in Bath Road and threatened staff at about 9.45pm.

They went into the back rooms of the shop, but left without stealing anything.

The pair were then seen running away in Boyndon Road.

Investigating officer Det Con Christian Parker, of Maidenhead Force CID, said: “The man pictured in these CCTV images might have vital information about this incident.

“I would encourage him, or anyone who thinks that they might recognise him, to get in touch by calling the 24-hour non emergency number 101.”

Police released the image today (Friday).
