Firefighters were seen in Boyn Hill this afternoon

Emergency services were called to a house fire in Boyn Hill this afternoon (August 18).
Firefighters and five fire engines - including one equipped with a crane – were seen attending to the blaze at a house in Longleat Gardens.
A first-floor room floor of the property could be seen to have extensive fire damage.
Amy Yazdi-Davis, a resident living close to the scene, said she spotted the fire around 4.30pm.
She added: “I smelt the smoke initially, then a few minutes later I saw a big cloud of smoke above the houses a few streets away.”
Update 3.05pm Tuesday (19 August). A spokesperson for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
"At 4:23pm on Sunday, 18 August, we received reports of a house fire on Longleat Gardens in Maidenhead.
"Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside the aerial ladder platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station, one officer and crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
"Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the upper floor of a residential property. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were on the scene for around three hours and 59 minutes before returning to check for hotspots."
