The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch: Classic story gets a musical version

Celebrating 40 years since the classic storybook The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch was published, a musical version on the story has been created.

For lighthouse keeper, Mr Grinling, lunch is the highlight of the day.

But Mr Grinling isn’t the only one who enjoys the delicious food and some greedy seagulls keep stealing his lunch.

The retelling of the story will be performed by The Pied Piper Theatre Company.

The company has more than 30 years experience producing theatre for young audiences making sure children's first experience is as engaging as possible.

Expect a show  packed with live music and song inspired by folk music of the British Isles.

There will be a chance for the audience to get involved and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the sea.
