The British curry industry 'Oscars' are set to return this month with restaurants in Cookham and Maidenhead among those shortlisted for awards.
Malik's, in High Street, Cookham, and Gandhi, in Boyn Hill Avenue, Maidenhead, are in the running for the best spice restaurant in the south east prize at the British Curry Awards and will find out whether they are winners at a ceremony in London on Monday, November 28.
The awards, held in association with kukd.com, are now in their 12th year and honour the 'unsung local heroes behind Britain's favourite cusine'.
