A thrilling live robot combat show is set to return to Maidenhead later this month, promising a weekend of high-energy entertainment for families and technology enthusiasts alike.
Following a series of sell-out performances last year, Robots Live! Maidenhead will take over Braywick Leisure Centre on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29.
The popular show will see heavyweight robots, some weighing up to 110kg, go head-to-head in a purpose-built arena.
Skilled teams from across the UK and beyond will battle it out using powerful weapons, innovative designs and tactical driving.
Inspired by the long-running appeal of televised robot combat, the live event with stars of BBC's Robot Wars brings the action up close.
Organisers promise louder, faster and more intense clashes than audiences might expect from the screen.
Spectators can expect dramatic knockouts, flying sparks and plenty of mechanical mayhem as the machines smash, flip and disable their opponents in a series of bouts across the weekend.
As well as the arena battles, the event aims to offer an educational and interactive experience, particularly for younger visitors.
VIP ticket holders will have the chance to meet the teams behind the machines, while the event also promotes interest in STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering and maths.
Organisers say the show is designed to be family-friendly, with something to entertain all ages, whether attendees are long-time fans of robot combat or completely new to the spectacle.
Performances are scheduled for 1pm and 5pm on Saturday, and 12pm and 3.30pm on Sunday.
Tickets and further information are available via www.robotslive.co.uk.
