Langley man, 19, among three charged after stabbing near Wycombe Swan theatre

A 19-year-old man from Langley has been charged in connection with a stabbing in the Wycombe Swan theatre car park on Tuesday (December 23).

Four men had been arrested, including two on suspicion of attempted murder, following the stabbing which left a 19-year-old man needing hospital treatment.

Dasharn Gregg, of Haynes Close, and a second suspect, 18-year-old Haned Haji, have now been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, along with a string of drug-supply offences.

Police officers descended on High Wycombe town centre following reports that a man had been stabbed in the Wycombe Swan car park at around 12.30pm.

The 19-year-old victim was transferred to hospital for treatment and has since been released. His injuries have been described as ‘serious, but non-life threatening’.

Four men were arrested following the stabbing, as police ramped up patrols around the Wycombe Swan and nearby Eden Shopping Centre.

In addition to the charges against Gregg and Haji, of Richmond Hill in Oldbury, another man has been charged with drug offences in connection with the police investigation.

Kelvin Appau, 19, of Turnberry Close in Manchester, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, as well as possession of criminal property.

Gregg and Hagi were remanded into police custody after appearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday (December 26). The two are set to appear at Reading Crown Court on January 26.

An 18-year-old man from Birmingham, previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and being involved in Class A drug supply, has been bailed until March 18.


Gregg has been charged with:

- Section 18 wounding with intent.

- Three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs cocaine and heroin.

Haji has been charged with:

- Section 18 wounding with intent

- One count of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

- One count of being concerned in the supply of Class B drug cannabis.

Appau has been charged with:

- Two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs crack cocaine and heroin

- Possession of criminal property
