A driver who ploughed his Range Rover into a parked car and caused a front porch to collapse on an unsuspecting woman has been jailed for almost five years.
At about 2am on Saturday, August 17, Abdul Kayani, 26, drove his black Range Rover SVR into a Mercedes car parked on a driveway in Northern Road.
The impact shunted the Mercedes into a nearby house and caused the porch to collapse, crushing a woman in her 40s and inflicting life-changing injuries.
After crashing into the Mercedes, Kayani, of Green Dragon Lane, Brentford, got out of the car brandishing a steering lock and confronted the occupants of the damaged property before getting back in his car and driving away.

Police said Kayani had targeted the property with his car following a feud.
Moments later, officers stopped the significantly damaged Range Rover on the A4 Bath Road in Slough. A knife was also discovered in the drivers’ footwell.
At the time, the car was being driven by Mohammed Subhani, 28, of Chrislea Close, Hounslow.
Police found Kayani and Abdifatah Mohamoud, 23, of Tachbrook Road, Feltham, in the passengers’ seats.
Officers arrested the trio and charged them the following day.
Kayani pleaded guilty to one count of grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, possession of a bladed article and dangerous driving.
He received a prison sentence of four years and nine months following a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Friday, August 1.
The Brentford man has also been disqualified from driving for four years and eight months upon his release from prison and must take an extended test to regain his licence.
Subhani pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous driving at a hearing on February 17 and received a three-month prison sentence.
Mohamoud was sentenced to nine months in prison at the same hearing after pleading guilty to one count of possession of a bladed article and cannabis possession.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Leiagh Ball, of Slough CID, said: “Abdul Kayani drove his vehicle at that property with intent following a feud. As a result, the victim, an innocent mother, was left with life-changing injuries.
“I hope this sentence serves as a deterrent that the police will take these offences seriously. We are committed to keeping our communities safe and holding offenders to account.
“I would like to thank the victim and witnesses for their bravery in coming forward and supporting this investigation and I hope, in time, that the victim recovers from her injuries.”
