The Advertiser and Vodafone have teamed up this week to offer one lucky charity the chance to win the Vodafone Community Connection Award of £1,000.
The winning charity that receives the £1,000 prize money could be anything from a local soup kitchen that needs money for a new oven to a local scout group who need a new uniform.
However, the winner needs to meet the following criteria:
We also need to know the reasons why you think your charity is the most deserving and what you will spend the money on, in no more than 250 words.
The winner will be selected by Maidenhead’s Vodafone store staff and representatives of Baylis Media.
Entries should include your name, charity name, charity number, email address, daytime telephone number and completion of the following sentence: I think my chosen charity should win £1,000 in the Vodafone Community Connection Award to spend on .............. because ............ (no more than 250 words).

The winner will be advised soon after the closing date and will be expected to take part in promotional photography and publicity.
