Heartstopper scenes continue to be filmed in Burnham this week at various central village locations.
Burnham Park Hall was booked exclusively on Monday October 30 by See Saw Films, the production company that produces the hit teen drama for Netflix.
Series three is currently being filmed and the council’s base at Windsor Lane was transformed into a ‘Dance Studio’ this week.
Crew and casts members occupied the ground floor area, shooting scenes in the makeshift ‘dance studio’ from within the councils’ main space known as Huntercombe Hall where official council meetings take place on a weekly basis.
Half of the car park was given over to the large convoy of white production vans and filming took place for most of the day.
Other scenes are due to be shot in the village library and in Burnham Park.
Last week, a large ‘carnival’ was set-up in the grounds of the former E-Act Burnham Park Academy, a school that was closed in 2019 by the Department for Education.
The empty building and grounds are used to depict Heartstopper’s ‘Truham Grammar School for Boys’, the fictional school that lead characters Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring attend.
The filming attracted large crowds of locals and Heartstopper fans who took photos and released short snippets of footage online showing the cast enjoying a concert and fairground rides.
Burnham Park Hall is often used as a hub for many community groups, clubs and classes and is available for hire for weddings and events.
