Collecting parcels from Royal Mail delivery offices is set to become easier with the introduction of a Sunday opening pilot scheme.
Starting on Sunday Slough Delivery Office opened its doors to customers as part of a new initiative designed to make it easier for online shoppers not at home during the day to get their parcels.
The pilot scheme will extend the opening of 100 delivery offices with the highest parcels volumes across the country to seven days a week.
This included the Slough delivery office in Wexham Road which is now open from 12pm to 4pm on Sundays
Operations director at Royal Mail, Tony Fox, said: "We are continuing to be more customer responsive and provide more options for people to receive items they have ordered online."
