The 70th Holyport Fair will take place on Saturday and visitors can expect new stalls as well as old favourites.
To celebrate the anniversary of the fair, a 40s fancy dress theme has been set. The annual fair has also received a grant from the Heathrow Community Fund and the event will raise money for Alexander Devine and Thames Hospice.
The Town Crier will open the fair at 2pm and new stalls include The Spice Hut, a drinks stall run by Holyport College and pancakes. There will also be a tug of war, Miss Holyport, a beer race, bowling for the pig and a dog show.
Fair chairman Maz Coppinger said: “We are very grateful to organisations such as Heathrow Community Fund, as well as our other sponsors and all the local volunteers whose generosity with time and money makes this event such a success.”
Organisers are still looking for volunteers to help set up and close the fair which will run on Holyport Green.
