A ‘Big Toddle’ at Holyport Primary School saw pupils dress up as animals.
More than 60 children took part in four laps of an obstacle course set up and run by the PE teachers to raise money for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Children in reception, year one and two in the school in Stroud Farm Road got sponsored to do the toddle on Friday, June 24, and a total of £1,000 was raised for the charity.
Heather Harris, reception teacher said: “It was really fun and the children loved dressing as animals, year six children helped guide them around them course.
“The obstacle course involved four challenges such as picking up cones, running in between poles, group activities.
“I think the children liked dressing up, they were all dressed as animals in some form and it’s great to raise money for a children’s charity.”
