A weather alert has been issued by the Met Office for this afternoon and evening as East Berkshire prepares to be hit by heavy showers and thunderstorms.
The yellow warning, which will in place between noon and 10pm, states large amounts of rain could fall in a relatively short space of time in some areas of South-east England.
It adds some areas will miss the heaviest showers, but residents are being warned to be aware of the risk of localised flooding and travel disruption.
The alert is in place for Windsor and Maidenhead, Bucks, Slough and Wokingham.
