Police said the man pictured could have information to help an investigation
Police have released the image of a man in connection with an investigation into a sexual assault which took place on an Elizabeth line train last year.
British Transport Police said a man boarded the train at Maidenhead and approached a woman just after 8am on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The train’s route was Reading to Abbey Wood.
He sexually assaulted her multiple times during the journey and was then seen touching himself inappropriately before getting off the train at West Drayton.
Police said the man could have information to help their investigation, and could help with an investigation into two similar incidents on the line in 2025.
Those occurred on an Elizabeth line train from Slough to West Drayton on Tuesday, November 18, and at Slough Railway Station on Friday, July 25.
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 196 of 20 August.
