Train disruption continues following signal fault

Train services are continuing to be disrupted by a signalling problem near White Waltham.

Network Rail said the fault had been fixed by engineers, but would continue to cause knock on delays to services until about 5pm.

Earlier today, trains were delayed by up to an hour by the problem.

The fault was fixed at about 1.30pm.

Journeys between Maidenhead and Twyford are set to be delayed by up to 30 minutes until about 5pm.

A Network Rail spokesman has apologised for the delays.
