Not guilty pleas have been entered by a 67-year-old Pinkneys Green man accused of two counts of arson.
Malcolm Simpson, of Lancaster Road, appeared at Reading Crown Court on Monday.
He denied setting another house in Lancaster Road on fire in May last year and setting alight a Mitsubishi L200 outside a property in the same road in October last year.
Simpson was remanded in custody to face trial at the same court on March 18.
