Firefighters helped a man who collapsed at home in Pearce Road in Maidenhead last night.

A crew from Maidenhead used a bariatric sheet to move the 20-stone man from the first floor bathroom to an ambulance at about 10.25pm.

He had a temperature and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough for further observation.
