A mother has described the birth of her son on Christmas Day as 'the best present ever'.
Emma Winsor, 36, and her partner Clinton Hasler, 40, were at home in Portlock Road, Maidenhead, when Emma’s contractions started at 4.30am.
Charlie was born at home at 2pm, weighing 8lbs 15oz.
Emma said: “It was very different to our normal Christmas but Charlie is definitely the best present we have ever had and he’s doing very well.
“We didn’t get to cook our own turkey but Clinton’s mum was on hand with her ‘meals on wheels’ so we had Christmas dinner after all.”
Grandmother Janet Goodwin, 61, said: “We are over the moon with the birth of our grandson, especially on such a special day.”
Baby Charlie, who arrived two days earlier than his December 27 due date, joins brother Brayden, five, and sisters Jade, seven, and Natalia, 18 months.
