River levels now 'stable' as flooding worry continues

Heavy rainfall is continuing to be monitored as the risk of flooding continues.

The Royal Borough has said river levels are now 'stable' but flood warnings remain in places across the area.

More wet weather is forecast over the weekend and sandbags are being provided by the council to homes which are in imminent danger of flooding.

Cookham Moor remains closed today and The Causeway is only open to pedestrians and emergency vehicles.

The Environment Agency is continuing to provide updates via its website, text and email alerts, and its designated Floodline on 0845 988 1188.
