A teenage boy has been punched in the face while walking in Homestead Road in Maidenhead.
His attacker then snatched his Blackberry Bold mobile phone before fleeing from the scene.
The theft happened at 10pm on Friday.
The boy did not suffer any injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
The offender is described as an Asian man who was wearing dark clothing and a hooded top with his hood up.
