Home Secretary and Maidenhead MP Theresa May shares her Christmas message with our readers
At the end of this memorable year it is right to reflect on some of the highlights, particularly the Diamond Jubilee which was celebrated with street parties across the local area. The Olympics and Paralympics were also hugely successful, and Maidenhead put on a great welcome for the Olympic Torch, as well as for visitors attending events at Eton Dorney.
Looking ahead to 2013, I will continue working to safeguard services at St Marks Hospital, improve Maidenhead town centre, and campaign for enhanced train services. I look forward to working with local residents on these and other issues affecting Maidenhead.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
