Councillor Simon Werner attended his first council meeting since returning to the council fold and said he was 'excited' to be back.
Cllr Werner (Lib Dem, Pinkneys Green) said he was looking forward to working on Royal Borough panels and had been 'watching in the background'.
He was speaking at the full council meeting at the Windsor Guildhall on Tuesday where other councillors welcomed him back.
Cllr Werner was re-elected on October 25 as ward councillor for Pinkneys Green after previously serving from 1995 to 2011.
He was elected after a by-election was held following the death of Wilson Hendry.
