An angling shop in Maidenhead which closed suddenly after nearly 40 years trading has been given a new lease of life.
Gary Saddington has taken over King's Outdoors and said he wants to run it as a traditional tackle shop.
The 42-year-old said: "I'm going to change the outside so it looks the same as it did when it originally opened in the 1970's.
"I want it to be a place that is at the centre of the fishing community."
The Ray Street shop was opened by Phil King in 1975 but closed without warning in April.
Gary, who has owned angling shops for eight years, took over the lease on the shop from its former owner on December 1.
