Festive cheer and treats were spread by dozens of Santas in Maidenhead High Street on Saturday.
About 50 members of the River Church donned Christmas hats and outfits to hand out hot chocolates, balloons and seasonal biscuits.
Carol singing also brought smiles to the faces of busy shoppers.
Church leader Ceri Davies said: "We wanted to bring some joy to the High Street and also gently remind people that Christmas isn’t just about shopping, presents, or stress."
Youngsters also enjoyed face painting and having their picture taken as part of an interactive nativity scene.
Invites to the church's Christmas production, the Christmas Story, were handed out.
The musical re-telling of the nativity is set to take place from 6pm on Sunday at Desborough School in Shoppenhangers Lane, where the church meet every Sunday at 10.30am
