Organic food hubs and renewable power were discussed at an open meeting in Maidenhead on Wednesday.
Foodnation gave a presentation on the People's Digital Co-op, Maidenhead's first organic food hub, during the meeting at the High Street Methodist Church organised by Transition Maidenhead and MaidEnergy.
There was also an update on a Solar PV community share scheme being developed by the energy co-op MaidEnergy and an overview of the Warm Futures Project, which promotes renewable heating installations across the Royal Borough.
One of the event speakers was former Royal Borough councillor Rajiv Chelani.
