Festive cheer will be spread once again by Father Christmas - with a little help from Maidenhead Round Table.
He will be touring the town aboard his festive sleigh, joined by trusty elves who will hand out sweets and also carrying collection buckets for donations which are given to charities across the area.
The long-running annual event raises about £3,000 and this year has been supported by the Forge Motor Company in Cookham which has helped with the special transport.
Chairman of Maidenhead Round Table, Richard Alvey, said: "We’re extremely grateful for the company stepping in to help us out.
"We received a lot of feedback from the community that the float is a key part of pre-Christmas activities and family traditions for Maidenhead – it was overwhelming."
The proposed route, subject to weather conditions and numbers of members available, is:
Sunday, December 9 - Cranbook Drive
Tuesday, December 11 - Cox Green
Wednesday, December 12 - Blackamoor Lane area
Thursday, December 13 - Farmers Way
Saturday, December 15 - Bomber estate
Sunday, December 16 - Larchfield estate
Tuesday, December 18 - Badminton Road & Great Hill Crescent
Thursday, December 20 - St Marks and Ashcroft Road area
Saturday, December 22 - Queensway
Sunday, December 23 - Holyport
The float normally goes out between 6.45-9pm.
