Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) have paid tribute to former pupil Marc Williams who died at the weekend.
The 22-year-old was found injured on the A404 slip road near Cox Green in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police believe he may have been the victim of a hit-and-run and are appealing for witnesses.
Today BCA in Burchetts Green confirmed Marc was a student at the college. He attended from September 2006-June 2011 and studied Public Service and later Motor Vehicle.
Student services manager Sarah Irving today described Marc as 'a larger than life character.'
She added: "All the staff and students at BCA are shocked and saddened to hear the news about Marc.
"He was a lovely young man who always had a smile on his face. Our thoughts are with his family and friends."
Marc lived in Hedsor Road in Bourne End. His parents paid tribute to him last night.
