A dog walker who needed a skin graft after having a chemical poured over her head in a daylight attack is 'healing well'.

Thames Valley Police has confirmed it is still pursuing several lines of enquiry with the help of the victim and her family to find the man responsible for the assault, which took place at Braywick Park on October 4.

The 34-year-old woman was treated for burns to her face, neck and chest from the chemical, which was not identified.

She was released from Wexham Park Hospital in Slough on October 9.

Police said they were confident the incident was isolated and the investigation is being handled by its domestic abuse team.
