Christmas shoppers will receive the gift of free parking as the festive season begins in Maidenhead town centre.
Parking at all council-run car parks in Maidenhead will be free during the first two weekends in December to encourage customers to bring their trade to the town.
There are also a series of seasonal events planned - including Art on the Street on Saturday, a popular art market in the High Street and Nicholsons Centre featuring more than 100 exhibitors and entertainment.
On Saturday, December 8, Santa and his reindeer will visit the High Street as well as the annual Norden Farm Lantern Parade, this year themed 'The Passing of the Planets'.
Maidenhead town manager Steph James said: "We are pleased to announce that the council is supporting the Christmas programme with free weekend parking.
"We look forward to seeing lots of people in the town enjoying the local events and supporting the local shops."
