An inquest has been opened into the death of a 77-year-old woman who was found at her home in Marlow Road in Pinkneys Green last week.
Margaret Stanton was found dead in her kitchen after police were called to the house at about 11am on Monday last week.
Members of the public had raised concerns that Mrs Stanton had not been seen for some time and officers found a number of letters in her post box when they went to the property.
A forensic van was parked at the riding stables at the house for several hours on the day but police are not treating the death as suspicious.
The inquest will be concluded at a later date.
Police are still trying to trace Margaret's next of kin.
