A pair of hopeful contestants from Maidenhead are looking to make a profit when they appear on popular BBC antiques programme Bargain Hunt.
Keith Abeynayake, from Cranbrook Drive, and Mark Whybrow, from Grenfell Road, will start filming for the show at London's Portobello market today before heading to auction to try and sell items they buy in February.
The pair, both 30, applied for the show two-and-a-half years ago as part of a shared dream to appear on a BBC TV programme.
Keith, who collects metal toy cars and rare coins, said: "We are hoping to do well and make a profit.
"Anything we do get will go to Cancer Research."
