A murder investigation continues in Maidenhead following the death of a man after a 'disturbance' at the Boulters Lock bar and restaurant complex last night.
Officers were called to the building on the island off Ray Mead Road in Maidenhead shortly before midnight.
A man, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment but later pronounced dead.
Four people - a woman, 18, and three men aged 22, 24 and 29 - are still in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of the man's murder.
"The news is incomprehensible"
The woman, who did not wish to be named, described the atmosphere in the bar as 'quiet' and 'very calm'.
Social media sites have been flooded with comments about the incident today.
One Facebook user wrote: "It's even more shocking as that's one of the nicer areas in Maidenhead."
The island remains cordoned off this afternoon.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
