Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died following an incident at the Boulters Lock restaurant and bar complex in Maidenhead last night.
Officers were called to the building on the island off Ray Mead Road shortly before midnight after reports of a disturbance.
A man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead in the early hours of this morning.
His identity has not been formally confirmed.
A woman aged 18 and three men aged 22, 24 and 29 were arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Kidman said: "We are at the early stages of this investigation and we are trying to establish the full circumstances of what has happened in this incident.
"We are asking anyone who may have information or who was in the vicinity of Boulters Lock after 7pm last night to contact us."
