Investigations into an alleged cyber-attack on the websites of Home Secretary and Maidenhead MP Theresa May have resulted in a man being arrested.
National reports suggest the 41-year-old was arrested at his home in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday.
Reports say he was arrested on suspicion of encouraging a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack or, in other words, trying to crash the sites.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
