A driver lost control and crashed into the railway bridge in Norden Road in Maidenhead in the early hours of this morning.
The wheel and door on the driver's side were ripped off in the accident.
Firefighters said the door had 'peeled off like a tin can.'
It took the fire service 15 minutes to cut the man out of his car after which he was taken to Wexham Park Hospital to treat his back and leg injuries.
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
Paramedics were called to the scene of a medical emergency in Maidenhead on Monday morning (June 27).
