Concerns are growing for the welfare of a 64-year-old woman who is missing from her home in Maidenhead.
Police are appealing for the public's help to trace Pauline Butland of Connaught Close in Furze Platt.
She was reported missing at about 11.30am by a relative who was concerned she was not at her home.
Pauline suffers from depression but her disappearance is said to be out of character.
She is white, 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length blonde hair which may be greying, and she wears glasses.
The police helicopter was hovering low over Furze Platt for much of the afternoon. It has not been confirmed whether it was looking for Pauline.
If you see her contact police on 101 as soon as possible.
