Plan for apartments, restaurant and retail space at former cinema site


The council has receieved plans to develop the former cinema site in Maidenhead's Bridge Avenue - four years after it was demolished.


Shanly Homes Limited is seeking permission from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council to build 77 apartments at the site. The application also  and Copthall House in St Ives Road.


Developers also want 373sqm of restaurant space and 167sqm of retail space as well as permission for alterations and recladding of Copthall House. Plan include building an additional storey with basement parking.
