A man had to be cut free from his car after crashing into a tree on the A308 yesterday.
The driver, believed to be in his mid-twenties, crashed while driving his Renault Clio at the top of the hill between Pinkneys Green and Bisham roundabout.
Firefighters from Slough and Maidenhead were called at 10.20am and had to use cutting equipment to remove the rear and driver's doors so the man could be rescued.
Police and ambulance services were also called.
Once removed, the man, who was conscious, was placed in a neck brace.
He is thought to have suffered spinal injuries.
The road was closed for 45 minutes while the rescue operation took place.
