Juice Plus+ opens new offices in Maidenhead

Juice Plus+ had the official launch party of its new offices on Friday, September 4.

The company invited along pupils from Wessex Primary school to learn about healthy eating and nutrition.

The launch party was also attended by MP Theresa May who officially cut the ribbon.

Juice Plus +, described as the ‘next best thing’ after fruit and vegetables, creates whole based products including nutrition bars, sweets and capsules.

Pupils from the school got to create their own smoothies and discuss ways to keep fit and active.

Theresa May said: “It’s great to see this company being here in Maidenhead, but I think what’s been really interesting is children taking a real interest in something that’s healthy and good for them.”

Simon Bowler, Regional Director of Juice Plus + said:“It was really great to invite local school children along for us to be able to showcase our mission to ‘inspire healthy living around the world’.

“As we know how important it is to build the foundations to a balanced healthy diet for the next generation. We look forward to continuing to educate the general public to take more responsibility for their health by holding events of this nature.”

The company has also been involved in a number of independent health studies and clinical research including the international Children’s Health Study – a large scale, multi-year survey designed to document the positive effects Juice Plus + has on the health and well-being of families who take it. Dr Nyjon Eccles, Harley street, has been working with Juice Plus + for a number of years. He said: “There are more than one million people taking part in the Children’s Health Study, which has given the chance for families worldwide to improve their health and lifestyle. I look forward to seeing the results.”

The launch party also celebrated the design of the unique offices which were nominated for an award.

Simon Bowler said: “We wanted our office to be a place that represents our healthy living culture, as well as be an invigorating sanctuary for our staff.”
