A 'cry-off' due to take place tomorrow in Windsor has been rescheduled after one potential crier could not make the date.
The event would decide which of the four applicants would take a ceremonial role being revived by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Cllr Alan Mellins persuaded the council to look into re-establishing the role of town crier.
Judging for the voluntary position will now take place at a later date.Editor's Picks
