Demolition machines are tearing down an 'eyesore' of a former education building in Maidenhead.
Work to clear the East Berkshire College site to make way for a new housing estate has finally reached the derelict main block, after preparations began on September 17.
Once the buildings, excluding the listed Boyn Hill House, have gone, floor slabs and foundations will be removed and ground work can begin.
Planning permission for 66 homes to be built on the Boyn Hill Avenue land was granted, subject to conditions, by the council in November.
The college closed in 2007.
