Computer stolen in charity shop burglary

A computer was taken in a burglary at a charity shop in High Street in Maidenhead between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Thieves broke into the back of Cancer Research UK after smashing a window on the ground floor at some point between 5.35pm on Friday and 7.35am on Saturday.

An attempt was made to force open a safe in the shop's office before the thieves took the computer, a keyboard and a label machine.

Contact police on 101 with information.
