Severe traffic delays have been caused on the A404 southbound in Marlow between Marlow Junction and the Bisham Roundabout due to a lorry fire.
One lane remains closed and police have said they do not know when the road will be fully reopened.
Traffic is also moving slowly on the northbound carriageway between the Bisham Roundabout and Marlow Junction.
Two crews from High Wycombe were called at 5.30am this morning following reports the front wheel on a lorry carrying empty milk bottles on the southbound carriageway had blown out.
About 40 minutes later the blow out combusted, setting fire to the lorry cab and part of the load.
Firefighters spent two hours using one hose reel and a compressed air foam system to put out the flames.
UPDATE: 9.35am: There is a spillage of 50 litres of oil in the road.Congestion to High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout.
