A gold medal-winning Olympian was the guest of honour at Claires Court's senior schools' speech day and prize-giving.
Katherine Grainger MBE received a standing ovation from students at the event at the Magnet Leisure Centre in Maidenhead on Thursday.
She spoke about her Olympic experiences and achievements before presenting the awards to students.
Academic principal James Wilding said: "We had a fantastic afternoon. Katherine Grainger was an absolute star and with her natural and kind manner, motivated and inspired our boys and girls."
Ms Grainger also allowed the prize winners to pass around her long-awaited medal for a closer look. It took two hours before it was returned to her.
A quarter of a century of service was also marked by Claires Court Schools The Ridgeway headteacher Jeff Watkins at the event.
He was presented with a gift and flowers.
