A Maidenhead antiques shop was raided in a smash-and-grab last night - only hours before it was due to be filmed for a BBC television show.
Stacy Sherlock, the owner of Thames Antiques & Vintage in Market Street, was told about the robbery by landlord of nearby pub The Vine at about 1am this morning.
She arrived at the shop to discover the front window had been smashed along with cabinets inside the store.
Stacy doesn't know how much has been stolen but says it includes valuable gold rings.
The shop is due to be visited by a BBC production crew this morning who are filming a segment for Antiques Road Trip.
Stacy has not cancelled their visit but is unsure if filming can go ahead as planned.
She said: "We need the publicity. We are such a new business, we have only been here since September."
"I can't cancel the filming because if they say that today is the only day they can do then I have lost four minutes of national TV time."
