UPDATE 17:00: Bilal Ahmed sentenced to three years and six months in prison for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in Oxford.
Zeeshan Ahmed will serve 18 months for perverting the course of justice.
Mustafa Ahmed due to be sentenced today.
A man from Suffolk Road, Maidenhead, has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in Oxford.
Bilal Ahmed, 27, was found guilty by a jury today after a two-and-a-half week trial at Oxford Crown Court.
He is due to be sentenced this afternoon.
On Saturday, December 17, 2011, Bilal and Mustafa Ahmed, 26, of Harrow Road, London, sexually assaulted the girl in Cowley Road, Oxford.
The pair were arrested in 2013 as part of Operation Bullfinch, which is an investigation into child sex exploitation.
Mustafa Ahmed pleaded guilty on Friday.
Bilal’s cousin Zeeshan Ahmed, 28, formerly of Palmer Road, Wood Farm Oxford, was convicted of perverting the court of justice. He threatened to shoot the victim after she went to police.
Operation Bullfinch senior investigating officer, Detective Superintendent Joe Kidman said: “I would like to commend the courage of this brave young woman who gave evidence against the men who committed these serious sexual assaults on her when she was a child.
“We will continue to work closely with Social Services to support victims, whatever their age now and whenever the abuse occurred.”
Adrian Foster, chief Crown Prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: “The abuse this girl was subjected to was truly appalling. No-one, let alone a child, should ever be exploited as this young victim was.
"I commend her bravery in coming forward and providing evidence for the prosecution. She enabled her abusers to face trial and be brought to justice.
“The men who have been convicted are nothing less than vicious sexual predators."
