The new head of rejuvenation for the Royal Borough has vowed to deliver the 'highest possible standards' in Windsor and Maidenhead.
Chris Hilton has been handed a new role as the director of regeneration and economic development and will help oversee the council's vision to improve Maidenhead town centre and other projects in the borough.
Chris, who previously worked for the London Borough of Croydon as senior regeneration manager, said: "There are some very exciting development schemes in the pipeline for Maidenhead town centre and I am particularly looking forward to ensuring that these are delivered to the highest possible standards.
Cllr MJ Saunders, cabinet member for planning and property, added: "We welcome Chris and look forward to enjoying the benefits of his expertise and experience.
"Already he has come up with some promising ideas about how to progress the council’s vision for Maidenhead town centre and throughout the borough."
