A £185,000 plan to complete a 'missing link' in the Thames Path will be considered by councillors.
The Royal Borough will consider three ways of filling the gap in Ray Mead Road at a meeting of the Cabinet on Thursday, May 29, at Maidenhead Town Hall.
The plans will also be seen by members of the authority's leisure, culture and libraries scrutiny panel the day before.
Officers will be recommending councillors put a pedestrian path along the roadside frontage of five homes in Bridge View.
Councillors may also consider alternative plans to put a 30m raised footpath along the river frontage of five Bridge View properties. A pontoon could also be considered.
But these schemes would both cost twice as much as the scheme being recommended.
